The heroes of yesterday are dead and gone. Division and the Mutant Control Enforcement Agency (MCEA) saw to that. This dystopia we live in is the result of one anti-mutant hate crime that sparked the third world war. The law now requires mutants to register, to spend the rest of their lives being a number on a file with a tracking device on their wrist or in their bloodstream.

For a while, the children of fallen heroes started to work in the shadows as the new X-Men. Not all that long ago, the latest incarnation of the X-Men was brought down in flames by Division's efforts. Team members captured, Agents killed, Cosmic fire everywhere... It seems as though the days of the X-Men have come and gone once again. Or have they?

Notice: Human Division employees are still much needed, even if they're depowered mutants. We would also love to see more MHA, Morlock and Purifier affiliated characters.

The Purifiers are a religion based anti-mutant movement that has been around for a lot longer than anyone cares to admit. Ever since the Purifiers pretty much started the war, their cause has become somewhat of a taboo subject. Even though Reverend Stryker is dead, the viciously anti-mutant, religious zealots and all-round bigoted organization known as the Purifiers is still alive and well. However it has become unspeakably "gauche" to speak positively of them in polite society - especially for those who actually support them. It's sort of a "don't talk about fight club" deal. However there are still those suicidal bold enough to openly wear the Purifier symbol and speak of them proudly. The current leader of the Purifiers is unknown.

The Mutant-Human Alliance aka the MHA has essentially been around since the world discovered the existence of mutants. Their members genuinely believe that mutants and humans can live together in a peaceful non-segregated world. The highly active mutant rights organization is just the tip of the iceberg and just about everybody knows it, they just can't prove it. The MHA extends far beyond their publicly known/active members to an extensive pipeline of information trafficking and support for those who live/were forced to essentially disappear from the world.

The Underground portion of the MHA is virtually impossible to pin down or infiltrate because there's no solid proof that it actually exists. People on the street joke that they're running "Mutants Without Borders" but they're not far wrong.

The MHA is currently lead by Kitty Pryde-Rasputin out of the Baxter Institute.

Before the war the Morlocks were entirely neutral in the grand scheme of things. During the war many of the original members were either captured, killed or just opted to go their own way thus they died out as a group. Since then the mutant Morlock has taken control essentially becoming the king of the underground, and a small portion of the Morlocks have taken a dramatic turn towards anarchy.

They are unregistered mutants who are more than happy to use their powers in public and otherwise openly defy the government, going so far as to start riots just to antagonize Division. They are the chaos to the MHA's order. However the majority of the Morlocks are still peaceful and neutral in the scheme of thing. Preferring to keep to themselves in their own nomadic off-grid world. It may not seem as exciting but their survival rates for the peaceful Morlocks is much higher.

The leader of this group is Sonny LeBeau, the Morlock King.

It's unknown exactly how long the Nobody Network has been around and it's equally unclear how many times the mantle of 'Nobody' has changed hands. The network exists as a truly neutral entity based around the act of buying or selling information. Particularly classified information and potentially life ruining secrets involving notable people or companies. Nobody tends to pay well and sell high, but be warned betrayal or bogus information will get you barred from the network. Or worse. The identy of the reigning Nobody is currently unknown.
